Guangzhou Automobile Group is investing 19 million US dollars to build a car assembly plant in Cambodia with an annual production capacity of 15,000 units.

According to the latest news from GAC International, on September 19th, GAC International officially signed a cooperation agreement with its Cambodian partner, TH Group, for the KD factory. The Cambodian KD factory is located in the province of Kampong Chhnang in central Cambodia. The factory is strictly constructed according to GAC standards, with a total investment of approximately 19 million US dollars. The factory plans to establish 4 assembly lines, with an annual production capacity of up to 15,000 units. It is expected to be completed in December 2025 and officially start mass production in January 2026.
