Shanghai releases humanoid robot dataset standard, providing a unified data language for humanoid robots.

At the sub-forum of the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum: Forum on cutting-edge technology and standard innovation of embodied intelligence, Shanghai officially released the ITU standardization outlook for embodied intelligent robots and humanoid robot data set standards, as well as the "Pujiang X" embodied intelligent standardization data set platform. It is understood that this set of standards was led by the Shanghai Institute of Robotics Industry Technology under the guidance of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and the Shanghai Market Supervision Administration, in collaboration with 19 industry, academia, and research institutions. The content covers the classification and encoding of humanoid robot data sets, the data annotation standards for humanoid robot data sets, the evaluation of humanoid robot data quality, and the requirements for humanoid robot data set formats. This will provide a unified data language for the humanoid robot industry in Shanghai and across the country, accelerating the transition of humanoid robots from technical exploration to large-scale implementation.
