The report shows that on June 3 of this year, a fatal accident occurred at Kanglong Huacheng Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. located at No. 6 Taihe Road, Hexi District of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, resulting in the deaths of 2 people. The incident has been reported to the municipal emergency management department as required. The two employees who died in this accident both died of suffocation due to lack of oxygen. One of the employees, 37 years old, had been working in the experimental work at Kanglong Huacheng Company for 6 years. The other employee, 38 years old, had been working in the experimental work at Kanglong Huacheng Company for 8 years. The families of the deceased have no objections to the cause of death. The report also named 9 relevant responsible persons for this accident and recommended imposing fines within a certain range. Among them, the main person in charge, Lou Mouqiang, was found to have not performed safety supervision duties seriously, leading to the accident and bearing leadership responsibility for the accident. The report recommends imposing a fine on Lou Mouqiang equivalent to 40% of his annual income from the previous year; the Vice President of Production in China, Zhang Mouliang, is recommended to be fined between 20% and 50% of his annual income from the previous year. The Vice President in charge of safety production, Wang Mouhui, is recommended to be fined between 20% and 50% of his annual income from the previous year. The report mentioned in the information of the units related to the accident that Lou Xiaoqiang is the main person in charge, president, and chief operating officer of Kanglong Huacheng. According to Kanglong Huacheng's 2024 annual report, Lou Xiaoqiang's pre-tax compensation was 1,913,300 yuan.
