Guangdong: proposed suggestions to the National Radio Administration to optimize the certification process for AI toys' radio frequency, creating a fast lane for compliant "AI+ Toy" products.

The action plan for promoting the empowerment of the toy industry with artificial intelligence in Guangdong Province has been officially issued. It mentions the promotion of establishing an AI toy standard system in Guangdong Province, striving to become the national standard first. Support will be provided for enterprises and institutions in the AI+ toy industry chain in Guangdong Province to actively participate in the revision of international standards, national standards, and various other standards, with the aim of attracting more international standardization organizations and domestic standardization technical committees to settle in Guangdong. Financial assistance will be given to eligible entities according to regulations. The dissemination of relevant policies on radio certification for AI toy enterprises will be organized, and suggestions for optimizing the AI toy radio certification process will be submitted to the National Radio Administration to create a fast lane for compliance with "AI+ toy" products. Efforts will be made to establish mutual recognition mechanisms for bilateral testing with relevant countries' testing institutions in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and other regions, in order to shorten the product launch cycle.
