China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 315,000 and 316,000 respectively, representing a year-on-year increase of 16.4% and 16.3%.

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers analyzed that in August, compared with the previous month, both the production and sales of passenger and commercial vehicles showed a double-digit decrease; compared with the same period last year, the production and sales of passenger and commercial vehicles showed varying degrees of growth. In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 315,000 and 316,000 respectively, with month-on-month increases of 5.9% and 3.4%, and year-on-year increases of 16.4% and 16.3% respectively. From January to August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles reached 2.713 million and 2.744 million respectively, with year-on-year increases of 7.1% and 5.2%.
