On September 28th, the official launch ceremony of the ultra-high definition channels of six provincial satellite TV stations was held in Shanghai. Cao Shumin, Deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the National Radio and Television Administration, and Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Shanghai, jointly launched the event. This signifies the official launch of the 4K ultra-high definition channels of Eastern Satellite TV, Jiangsu Satellite TV, Zhejiang Satellite TV, Shandong Satellite TV, Hunan Satellite TV, and Sichuan Satellite TV.
