The Meipatang Reservoir project in Zase Town, Baqing County, Nagqu City, Tibet Autonomous Region, located in the middle reaches of the Suoqu River, was successfully capped on the 28th, marking the new stage of the construction of the main project of the reservoir. The average altitude of the Meipatang Reservoir project is 4100 meters, with a total investment of 1.435 billion yuan. The total storage capacity of the reservoir is 24.1 million cubic meters, the total length of the dam top is 539 meters, and the maximum dam height is 55 meters. As one of the key water conservancy projects in Tibet, the Meipatang Reservoir project is the largest medium-sized reservoir under construction in Tibet, and also the largest single investment water conservancy project in Nagqu City.
