According to the news from the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission of China Grain Group, and the Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, the former Party Secretary and Chairman of Zhonglian Keji Stock Co., Ltd., Yao Zhuan, has been investigated for serious violations of discipline and laws. Investigation found that Yao Zhuan has lost his ideals and beliefs, is indifferent to discipline, colluded with others to resist organizational inspections, violated the spirit of the Eight Provisions of the Central Committee, received gifts and bribes, participated in extravagant banquets and trips at public expense, misused public resources, engaged in profit-making activities, concealed property ownership, leaked confidential information regarding audits, and used his position for personal gains in various business dealings. Yao Zhuan, as a leading cadre of a state-owned enterprise and having long been in a top leadership position, has seriously violated political discipline, the Eight Provisions of the Central Committee, organizational discipline, disciplinary discipline, and work discipline. It constitutes a serious breach of duty, suspected of committing crimes, with serious nature and adverse impact, and should be severely dealt with. Based on relevant regulations such as the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Regulations on Administrative Disciplinary Actions of Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," Yao Zhuan has been expelled from the Party, and his benefits have been adjusted accordingly. His ill-gotten gains have been confiscated. The Jiangsu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has transferred his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organ for further investigation and prosecution, along with the confiscated assets.
