As an annual cultural and tourism event in Changning District, Shanghai, the "Most Hongqiao" Carnival kicked off on September 26th. Taking this opportunity, Changning District launched a three-year action plan for creating distinctive inbound tourism destinations. In addition, Changning District also revealed that various cultural, commercial, and tourism activities combining online and offline will be held throughout the district in September and October. This year's "Most Hongqiao" Carnival event is divided into a "1+15+X" model, where "1" represents the main venue for the grand performance of the "Most Hongqiao" ceremony night; "15" represents key cultural and tourism commercial activities held in cultural venues, trendy streets, commercial areas, parks, and green spaces; and "X" represents various characteristic activities related to "eating, staying, traveling, shopping, and entertainment" held throughout the district. In terms of promoting consumption, major commercial districts in Changning District have launched the Golden Autumn Shopping Festival, offering ticket discounts, night-time activities, and departure tax refunds; many high-quality hotels are offering more cost-effective accommodation deals and room discounts during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival golden week; events such as the Hongqiao Grassland Music Festival, the finals of the Citizen Dance Competition, and the "Autumn Book Market" themed market are not only cultural and tourism activities but also empowering the business sector, thereby expanding new cultural consumption scenes.
