Two departments jointly issued the "National Standard for Food Safety - Good Manufacturing Practice for Health Food"

On September 25, the National Health Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly released the "Good Manufacturing Practices for Health Food National Standards for Food Safety". The "Production Standards" are based on the framework revision of the "General Hygiene Regulations for Food Production National Standards for Food Safety", replacing the "Good Manufacturing Practices for Health Food", and revising multiple contents such as site selection and factory environment, factory and workshop, facilities and equipment, health food raw materials, additives and food-related products, food safety control in production processes, verification and inspection requirements, etc. It also adds requirements for food safety management, product recall and traceability management, and guidelines for the division of different categories of health food operation areas.
