Recently, the National Internet Information Office instructed the Guangdong Internet Information Office to take measures against the UC platform for failing to fulfill its responsibility as the main body of information content management. This platform has allowed extremely sensitive and malicious event terms to appear in the main search rankings, which were published by non-authoritative departments and authoritative media. These terms involve topics related to online violence, the privacy of minors, and other issues that disrupt the order of the online ecosystem. In accordance with the "Regulations on the Governance of Internet Information Content Ecology" and other relevant regulations, the UC platform will be subject to measures such as interviews, orders to make corrections within a time frame, warnings, and strict penalties for those responsible.
