Oman's solar project landed with an investment of over 21 billion yuan.

Oman has signed the development agreement for the Ibri III solar power project, which is an important step towards the country's transition to renewable energy. The project covers an area of nearly 10 million square meters, with a power capacity of 500MW and a 100MWh battery energy storage system. The project investment is about 115 million Omani rials, and it is expected to reduce emissions by around 505,000 tons per year after it is operational, and also increase the share of renewable energy in Oman's total electricity generation by 4%.
