ExxonMobil announced on September 22 that the company has made a final investment decision on the Hammerhead development project offshore Guyana, subject to necessary regulatory approvals. Hammerhead is the seventh project in the Stabroek block of Guyana, with an investment of $6.8 billion and an estimated production start date in 2029 with a daily oil production capacity of 150,000 barrels.
