Macau will issue a No. 8 typhoon signal, evacuating low-lying areas.

As Super Typhoon "Hagupit" approaches, the Meteorological Department of Macau will issue a "No. 8 Gale Warning" at 5:00 pm today. The four sea-crossing bridges connecting Macau and Taipa, as well as the Lotus Bridge, will be closed from 6:30 pm. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge will be closed at 3:00 pm. All sea passenger routes in Macau will be suspended. After issuing an orange storm surge warning at 1:00 pm today, the Macau SAR Government will also implement evacuation plans for low-lying areas, expected to be completed before 5:00 pm today.
