On the afternoon of September 21, at the main forum of the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum WE START Entrepreneurship Investment Conference, Shanghai Future Starting Point Community officially made its debut. This community was established under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Shanghai Future Industry Fund, a subsidiary of Shanghai State-Owned Capital Investment Co., Ltd, in collaboration with two top scientist communities. Shanghai Future Starting Point Community focuses on frontier technology entrepreneurs, building an open talent service platform to meet the talent needs of disruptive innovation investment, incubation, and development throughout Shanghai. It will focus on exploring "future talent," "future cognition," "future paradigm," and "future connection," and hopes to discover and support Chinese entrepreneurs in the field of disruptive innovation for the next 10 years in a systematic and institutionalized way that conforms to market and innovation laws. The "We Start Early Investment Alliance" was also established at the event. This alliance brings together top domestic investment institutions and ecological partners, dedicated to building a hard technology investment ecosystem, focusing on "early investment, small investment, and hard technology investment," bridging the "first kilometer" of technology transfer, and injecting original vitality into the development of new productivity.
