Shenzhen city has expanded its area for heavy rain yellow warning signal and has issued a lightning warning signal for the designated areas.

It is expected that Bao'an District, Guangming District, and Longhua District will receive 30-40mm of rainfall within 2 hours with thunderstorms. The Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory will extend the yellow warning signal for heavy rain to the aforementioned areas at 14:30 on September 20, 2025, and issue a thunderstorm warning signal.
