At yesterday's press conference held by the State Council Information Office, relevant officials stated that with a series of policy measures to promote, the potential for inbound consumption is continuously being unleashed. The Ministry of Commerce will work together with relevant departments to continuously promote the expansion of inbound consumption. The officials stated that they will promote the orderly expansion of the scope of visa-free countries, and optimize the visa-free entry policy. They will also issue policy measures to promote the export of services, support the improvement of the convenience level of inbound consumption such as tourism, medical treatment, health care, and study abroad. They will promote more stores to become tax refund stores, promote the advanced practices of Shanghai, Zhejiang, China Bank, and other regions and institutions, further optimize the tax refund services, promote mutual recognition of "buy and refund" in different regions, and make the new measure of departure tax refund a new driving force for inbound consumption.
