CoreWeave will invest 1.5 billion pounds in the UK to expand AI data center capacity and operations.

The British government announced on September 17th that the American cloud service provider CoreWeave will be investing 1.5 billion in the UK to expand AI data center capacity and operations, bringing its total investment in the UK over the past year to 2.5 billion. As part of this investment, CoreWeave will partner with the British company DataVita in Scotland with the aim of creating one of the largest and most efficient AI data centers in Europe.
