The 160th Anniversary of the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day and the International Telecommunication Union was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province in 2025. Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Chairman of the China Communications Society, attended the event and pointed out in his speech that China has built the world's leading and largest information and communication network. 5G applications are integrated into 86 of the 97 national economic categories, industrial internet covers all 41 industrial categories, promoting the rapid development of artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, and effectively promoting deep integration of the real economy and digital economy.
