The last nuclear power unit in Taiwan has been shut down.

The operating license for the second unit of Taiwan's third nuclear power plant will expire on the 17th and will officially shut down before midnight the next day. Concerns have been raised domestically about unresolved issues such as power shortages and blackouts, and now that "nuclear power is at zero," the future electricity supply will face numerous challenges.
