The State Administration for Market Regulation releases the results of a special inspection on civil "three tables" in China.
The State Administration of Market Regulation recently issued a report on the special supervision and inspection of civil "three meters" measurement in 2024. The report shows that there are currently 660 million electricity meters, 320 million water meters, and 260 million gas meters in use nationwide. In this supervision and inspection, a total of 2.96 million electricity meters were sampled, with 1799 found to be non-compliant, a pass rate of 99.94%; 1.69 million water meters were sampled, with 10,600 found to be non-compliant, a pass rate of 99.37%; and 1.31 million gas meters were sampled, with 2923 found to be non-compliant, a pass rate of 99.78%. From the special supervision and inspection results, the overall pass rate of civil "three meters" calibration in the country is at a high level.
