CRIC Real Estate: New home subscription area in May Day holiday decreased by 4% year-on-year, it is expected that the May real estate market will continue the trend of weak recovery.
According to the Securities Times app, Ke Rui Real Estate stated in a press release that during the May Day holiday period, the performance of the property market was slightly flat. The subscription area of 19 key cities decreased by 4% year-on-year. Cities benefiting from new policies, such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, all experienced different degrees of decline. Cities like Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Wuhan continued to show a weak recovery trend. Currently, the hot-selling projects are still concentrated in the core area improvement projects and affordable housing with large discounts. The overall price increase of second-hand houses is slightly better than that of new houses. It is expected that the overall transaction volume in May will be better than that of April, continuing the trend of stabilization after a period of decline.
