Kim Jong Un observes intermediate-range strategic missile launch training

The Korean Central News Agency reported on the 4th that the DPRK conducted a medium-range strategic missile launch drill in the eastern region in the early hours of the 3rd. Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs Commission, observed the drill on site. The report said the missile used in the drill hit the target set in the waters east of the DPRK. The drill was aimed at enabling missile troops operating the hypersonic strategic weapon system to become proficient in firepower operation capabilities. Kim Jong Un stated that it is necessary to control various threats with strong deterrence and ensure a safe environment for national construction.
