Xiamen Releases Twelve Measures to Promote Exchange and Cooperation with Taiwan
On the 18th, Xiamen released twelve measures to promote exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan, covering various aspects such as cross-strait economic and trade cooperation, cultural exchanges, youth work, platform building, and service guarantees. According to reports, the twelve measures embody three distinct characteristics.
First, there is a focus on cultural and economic exchanges. Leveraging various cultural, industrial, economic, and trade activities and platforms for cross-strait exchange, we aim to deepen multi-level and multi-field interactive communication. By enhancing cooperation in the economic and trade sectors, we will further optimize the cooperation matching mechanism, streamline the industrial cooperation chain, broaden collaboration space, and continuously promote deeper economic integration between the two sides.
Second, there is an emphasis on infrastructure connectivity. Concentrating on interconnectivity and supporting guarantees, we will systematically improve the infrastructure system, especially through the construction of facilities like the Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport, the Xiamen-Kinmen Bridge, and the Dadan LNG terminal pipeline, which will solidify the hardware support for cross-strait exchanges and cooperation.
Third, there is a focus on leveraging new media. By closely aligning with new trends in the development of new media and the emerging opportunities in the cultural and tourism industries, we will innovate in promoting cooperation in areas such as AI comics and micro-dramas. Through youthful and visual communication methods, we will foster exchanges and cooperation in the cultural industries across the strait, further enriching the channels of exchange and broadening cooperation avenues.
