The preliminary estimate of the total value of retail sales in Hong Kong for June is HKD 31.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%.

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on August 4, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Census and Statistics Department released the latest figures for retail sales. The preliminary estimate for the total retail sales value in June 2026 is HK$31.5 billion, an increase of 4.6% compared to the same month in 2025. The revised estimate for the total retail sales value in May 2026 increased by 7.9% compared to May 2025. Compared to the same period in 2025, the preliminary estimate for the total retail sales value in the first half of 2026 rose by 9.6%.
