Hainan Housing Provident Fund will concentrate on cleaning up accounts for depositors with multiple accounts.

On June 6, reporters learned from the Housing Provident Fund Management Bureau of Hainan Province that in order to standardize the management of individual housing provident fund accounts and improve data quality, the bureau will carry out a cleanup of "one person multiple accounts" for depositors. It was reported that during a special inspection conducted by the provincial housing provident fund management bureau, it was found that some depositors had multiple accounts, which is not allowed according to the regulations of the Housing Provident Fund Management Regulations, each worker can only have one housing provident fund account. The provincial housing provident fund management bureau has issued a notice reminding relevant deposit units and depositors to actively verify account details from June 6 to June 20. If there are errors in personal account information, the deposit unit or depositor should bring their own identity documents, social security payment records, labor contracts, and a statement of deposit status issued by the unit, and go to the housing provident fund deposit location to handle the procedure for changing account information. If eligible for account closure and withdrawal, they can apply for it simultaneously.
