On Saturday, Lai announced the results of the clinical trials for its new generation of weight-loss drug, Reyatarutide, to medical experts. The results showed that the drug not only promotes weight loss and relieves knee joint pain, but also reduces the severity of sleep apnea. In a phase III clinical trial, Lai found that weekly injections of Reyatarutide reduced moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea symptoms by 60.6% in obese adults. In the same trial, Lai also found that the drug could reduce knee joint osteoarthritis pain by up to 73.1%.
