According to the China Development Bank, by 2025, the bank will issue loans of 786.3 billion yuan in the field of urban renewal, focusing on supporting the renovation and transformation of old neighborhoods in towns, old streets, old factories, urban villages, etc., as well as the construction and renovation of urban infrastructure, restoration of urban ecosystems, and protection and inheritance of urban historical and cultural heritage, serving the optimization of urban structure, improvement of functions, continuation of urban context, and enhancement of quality.
