Beijing welcomes strong winds and dusty weather with a maximum wind speed of 14 levels.

This afternoon, strong winds with blowing dust appeared in Beijing. Due to the strong winds accompanied by sand dust, visibility has significantly decreased. Currently, the strong winds have affected the western areas of Beijing, with mountainous areas in Yanqing, Fangshan, Mentougou, Changping, and Haidian experiencing local gusts of over 10 levels, with maximum wind speeds reaching 14 levels, and maximum wind speeds in the urban area reaching 9 levels. Visibility in the western areas has decreased to around 2 kilometers. Currently, Beijing is under a yellow wind warning and a blue sand dust warning, the wind zone will continue to move eastward affecting most areas of the city, with the lowest visibility around 2 kilometers.
