Starting from February 15th, the subway and buses in Fuzhou, Fujian will be free for 17 consecutive days.
From February 15th to March 3rd, the Transportation Bureau of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, will launch a 17-day "Free Ride on Subway and Bus" activity, inviting tourists from all over the country to "come to Fuzhou and celebrate the Chinese New Year". On the subway side, all operating lines including Line 1, Line 2, Line 4, Line 5, Line 6, and the Binhai Express Line will participate. During the free period, all ticket gates at all operating stations on the Fuzhou subway network will be open, passengers do not need to purchase tickets, swipe cards, or scan codes, and can enter and exit the gates after security check according to the instructions to enjoy free ride services. On the bus side, all one-ticket routes covering the six urban areas costing 2 yuan or less will also be free at the same time. At that time, noticeable red signs will be hung at the coin boxes on the buses, and the card swipe and scan devices on board will be temporarily suspended, passengers can get on the bus directly without any payment.
