China was re-elected as a Category 1 council member of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

The reporter learned from the Civil Aviation Administration of China that on September 27th, local time, China was re-elected as a Category I Council member of the International Civil Aviation Organization at the 42nd session of the assembly. This is the 8th time China has been elected as a Category I Council member since 2004. The Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization is a permanent body responsible to the assembly, with its Category I members composed of countries that play a major role in civil aviation transportation.
