The 2025 Sanming City Conference on Advancing the High-Quality Development of China's Rice Seed Base was held in Jianning.

On September 28, 2025, Sanming City held a conference to promote the high-quality development of China's rice seed base in Jianning County. This aimed to thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on national food security, as well as the measures required by the provincial Party committee and government to promote the revitalization of the seed industry. The conference discussed the implementation of the revitalization of the seed industry, proposed strategies for the high-quality development of the "China Rice Seed Base," and planned for the overall revitalization of the seed industry in China.
