Moldova holds parliamentary elections.
Chisinau News: Moldova will hold a new parliamentary election on the 28th, with nearly 3.3 million voters selecting 101 members of parliament. According to information released by the Central Election Commission of Moldova, there are a total of 14 political parties, 4 electoral alliances, and 4 independent candidates vying for seats in the new parliament. Voting will take place from 7 am to 9 pm local time, with a total of 2,274 polling stations set up, including 301 polling stations overseas. 3,423 observers will supervise the voting process, including 912 international observers. The Moldovan parliament serves a 4-year term. In the previous parliamentary elections held in July 2021, a total of 3 political parties or party alliances entered parliament, with the Action and Solidarity Party winning 63 seats, the electoral alliance consisting of the Communist Party and the Socialist Party won 32 seats, and the Sor Party won 6 seats.
