Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney expressed his hope to attract tech industry employees who had previously worked in the United States but are unable to continue staying in the country due to the new visa policies implemented by President Trump. "It's quite obvious that we have the opportunity to attract talent who would have originally been eligible for the so-called H-1B visa," Carney told reporters in London on Saturday. He also stated that these employees mostly come from the tech industry and are willing to relocate for work. Carney mentioned that when the Canadian government reviews its immigration policies, "we will consider welcoming these talents and will develop a 'clear plan' for this."
