According to the headquarter reporter, after a 5.6 magnitude earthquake in Longxi County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, the three levels of rescue forces from the province, city, and county have arrived at the disaster area to carry out rescue and relief work. After the first comprehensive investigation, no casualties were reported, 4 people sustained minor injuries, 8 houses collapsed, more than 110 houses were damaged, and the injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment. Currently, rescue workers are conducting inspections and relief operations on the damaged infrastructure such as transportation, electricity, and communication in the disaster area. Due to the earthquake, three train services including the Xulan high-speed rail, Lanyu line, and Longhai line have been suspended, and the Xulan high-speed rail is operating at a reduced speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour.
