Stalemate in the European sixth-generation aircraft project as Germany and France refuse to concede in the battle for leadership.
According to foreign media reports on the 26th local time, there is an unresolved conflict between Germany and France in the development of the sixth generation fighter aircraft in Europe. Germany believes that France's Dassault Aviation company has no reason to demand decision-making dominance and will not make concessions on this. The European Sixth Generation Fighter "Future Combat Air System" project was launched in 2017 and is jointly developed by France, Germany, and Spain, aiming to replace France's Rafale fighter and the Eurofighter Typhoon jointly developed by Britain, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Dassault Aviation, Airbus, and Indra, representing the interests of France, Germany, and Spain, respectively, are involved in the sixth generation fighter project. According to French and Spanish media reports, there are significant conflicts between Dassault Aviation and Airbus, resulting in the project being stalled. French companies led by Dassault Aviation are demanding greater dominance, and Germany is angry at France's disregard for the cooperation agreement.
