The world's first tunneling/cutting machine integrated with a shield machine, independently developed by Tunnel Corporation, has successfully rolled off the production line.

Recently, the 13.53m x 8.438m pipe-jacking/shield tunneling integrated machine independently developed by Tunnel Co., Ltd. Shanghai Tunnel City Construction Equipment successfully passed the acceptance inspection and went offline smoothly. This equipment is the world's first pipe-jacking/shield tunneling integrated machine, which can switch between shield tunneling and pipe-jacking modes, realizing the integrated construction of rectangular pipe-jacking tunnels and shield tunnels without the need for intermediate shaft conversion. After the pipe-jacking/shield tunneling integrated machine goes offline, it will be used in the construction of the back-turn line at Dongjing Station of the extension project of Shanghai Metro Line 12.
