Lockheed Martin Corporation awarded nearly $11 billion helicopter contract by US Navy.

On September 26th, local time, Lockheed Martin Corporation stated that its subsidiary Sikorsky had been awarded a contract worth nearly $11 billion by the US Navy to build 99 CH-53K "King Stallion" heavy transport helicopters. Lockheed Martin Corporation stated that this is the largest order for this aircraft model to date. Sikorsky will deliver these helicopters between 2029 and 2034.
