A 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck Longxi, Gansu, and the firefighting forces have been mobilized.

On September 27, 2025, at 5:49 am, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred in Longxi County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province. The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers and 148 kilometers away from Tianshui City. After the earthquake, the Gansu Provincial Fire and Rescue Corps quickly responded, immediately mobilizing 280 firefighters, 42 fire trucks, and over 2000 sets of equipment to assemble in the camp in Dingxi, Lanzhou, and Tianshui branches. The Longxi team of the Dingxi branch has already been dispatched. Currently, there have been no reports of collapsed buildings or casualties, and the command center of the Corps is continuously monitoring the situation at the epicenter.
