Mexico launches anti-dumping investigation into colored float glass from China.

On September 26, 2025, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico announced that, in response to an application from the Mexican producer Vidrio Plano de Mxico, S.A. de C.V., an anti-dumping investigation will be initiated on colored float glass from China with a thickness of 2mm and 19mm. The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024. The tariff code for the products involved is 7005.21.03. The announcement will take effect the day after it is published.
