According to the Wisdom Financial APP, on September 26th, the statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange showed that in August 2025, the total turnover of China's foreign exchange market (excluding foreign exchange market, the same below) reached 24.08 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.38 trillion US dollars). Among them, the turnover of the bank-to-customer market was 3.71 trillion yuan (equivalent to 0.52 trillion US dollars), and the interbank market turnover was 20.37 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.86 trillion US dollars); the spot market's cumulative turnover was 9.16 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.28 trillion US dollars), and the derivative market's cumulative turnover was 14.93 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.09 trillion US dollars).
