The Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice regarding the normalization of the "ranking" of large enterprises and the "revelation" of small and medium-sized enterprises starting from 2025. Focusing on key areas of building a strong manufacturing and digital economy, the initiative involves large enterprises releasing industry technology innovations and demand for partnerships, while small and medium-sized enterprises "reveal" their capabilities to collaborate voluntarily with large enterprises based on market principles. This cooperation aims to help large enterprises connect with more collaborative innovation partners who have not yet entered the supplier system, and assist more small and medium-sized enterprises in integrating into the industrial chain and supply chain of large enterprises. This approach establishes a market-driven system where innovation demands are proposed by the market, innovation subjects are selected by the market, and innovation results are verified by the market. Through joint efforts, the initiative aims to solve industrial technological challenges, create integrated innovation outcomes, promote the integration of scientific and industrial innovation, boost the development of new productive forces, and enhance the resilience and security of industrial chain supply chains.
