According to the Zh tng cijng APP, on September 26, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Eddie Yue, stated that the new "Renminbi Business Funding Arrangement" will be announced this afternoon. The new arrangement will be introduced in phases, with the term extended to one year and the additional 0.25% interest rate calculation eliminated; banks will be allowed to transfer funds to overseas or internal banking institutions within the group.
