The United States is investigating whether India's largest solar panel manufacturer, Waaree Energy Limited, has been evading anti-dumping and anti-subsidy taxes on solar panels from Southeast Asian countries. According to a notice obtained by the media, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has launched a formal investigation into Waaree Company and its U.S. subsidiary, and has implemented temporary measures due to reasonable suspicion that the company has been evading tax obligations when importing goods into the United States. In early trading on Friday, Waaree's stock price fell by as much as 5.5%, marking the largest drop since September 1st.
