Hawe Group showcases TheiaCel technology at Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit

On September 25th, Hawkeye Group showcased TheiaCel technology at the 2025 Beijing Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit. According to the introduction, TheiaCel technology achieves about 100 times increase in full well capacity, bringing about a close to 140 dB ultra-high dynamic range and avoiding motion blur in multi-frame exposure HDR videos. Currently, this technology has been successfully applied in the automotive electronics field, but still faces serious challenges in the mobile imaging field: requirements for smaller pixels, low-light performance, and video dynamic range. Therefore, Hawkeye Group has introduced the OV50X image sensor incorporating TheiaCel technology, and collaborated with Qualcomm and Horizon Software to create a complete, systematic solution from sensor to SoC to software.
