Wang Shengli, director of the Quality Supervision Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, stated at a press conference that special and concentrated rectification actions will be carried out for key products such as electric bicycles, building insulation materials, power banks, and down jackets with prominent issues, and efforts will be increased in supervisory and law enforcement. Since the beginning of this year, market supervision departments across the country have filed and investigated a total of 10,912 cases of illegal electric bicycles, transferred 50 cases to judicial authorities, exposed 834 typical cases, and imposed a total of 90.8396 million yuan in fines; 229 cases of illegal building insulation materials have been filed and investigated, 6215.2 cubic meters of unqualified products have been seized, and fines totaling 454,000 yuan have been imposed.
