Thailand invites digital companies to apply for "TouristDigiPay".

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand has invited digital asset operators to participate in a pilot project that allows foreign tourists to exchange their digital assets for Thai baht to pay for their travel expenses and consumption. According to a statement released by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand on Thursday, interested operators can submit applications from September 25 to December 26. Potential participants in the sandbox project must be operators of digital asset exchanges, digital asset brokers, and digital asset traders. They must establish contact with electronic currency operators to use the Thai baht exchanged from the digital asset holdings of foreign tourists to purchase goods and services.
