Morning Star: The performance and effectiveness of Baidu's AI chip as a long-term solution still need to be proven.

Analysts at Morningstar Inc. stated that Baidu's artificial intelligence chips may still not be as good as Nvidia's H20, and may need to be used in combination to maximize computing efficiency. He wrote that in the past month, the market has welcomed Baidu's AI chip development, causing its stock price to rise by nearly 50% this month. However, Baidu's chips may be one to two generations behind Nvidia's H20 chip, as the Kunlun P800 is a 7-nanometer chip, while Nvidia's H20 is a 4-nanometer chip. Despite Baidu being self-sufficient and not needing to purchase Nvidia's H20 to reduce capital expenditures, the performance of its chips and their effectiveness as a long-term solution still need to be proven.
