Beijing has risen to become the 6th most important international hub city in the world.

Yesterday, the "Global Interconnection City Index 2025" report was released at Tsinghua University. This is the third time this index has been released, and Beijing's ranking has improved by one place compared to last year due to its favorable business environment, recovery in inbound tourism, progress in science and technology innovation, and improved transportation connectivity, ranking 6th globally. The top 10 cities in the comprehensive ranking are London, Paris, New York, Seoul, Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Bangkok, with San Francisco and Bangkok tied for 10th place.
