Hong Kong stocks closed at midday, with the Hang Seng Index up 0.43% and the Hang Seng Tech Index up 1.91%. The Hong Kong Stock Technology ETF (159751) rose 1.79% and the Hang Seng Stock Connect ETF (159318) rose 0.07%. In terms of sectors, semiconductor products and equipment, as well as metal and mining sectors, were among the top gainers, while gas and power sectors saw the biggest declines. In terms of individual stocks, Jingjin Technology Group surged more than 157%, Luoyang Molybdenum Industry rose 13.33%, Chery Automobile rose 8.55%, Hua Hong Semiconductor rose 6.4%, Zijin Mining rose 6.28%, JD.com-SW rose 6.17%, Ningde Times rose 5.34%, Xiaopeng Motors-W rose 4.74%, ZTE rose 4.56%, SenseTime-WR rose 4.4%, SenseTime-W rose 4.4%, and Baidu Group-SW rose 4.36%. On the other hand, China Gas fell 8.21% and Zhongqing Stock fell 8.46%, while China Everbright Holdings rose 21.75%.
